三戦（サンチン）..."三つの呼吸法"、転掌（テンショウ）..."自在な小手使い"
姿勢、呼吸、腕の使い方、運足、など、現代武道とは一線を画す理論と鍛錬法

「三戦には三つの呼吸法があります。それは腹式、胸式、肩式です」と剛柔流泉武会・泉川勝也先生。剛柔流で非常に重要視される基本型・三戦は、拳を出す・引く動作と呼吸の一致が不可欠。
ですが三つの呼吸は、あまり聞いたことのない言葉。確かに一呼吸の流れを「腹→胸→肩（肩甲骨）」として行うと、体幹をより詳細に意識でき、結果として姿勢も自然と立ってきます。
泉川先生いわく「三戦とは、正しい姿勢と強固な体幹軸の養成が目的」なので、これはとても納得がいきました。
また三戦と並ぶ代表型・転掌も、各小手の動きと呼吸の関係が細かく説明されているので、三戦・転掌を学びたい、または深く鍛錬したいという方にはもってこいの内容です。
