２月８日（日）、今年も日本武道館にて日本古武道演武大会が盛大に開催されました（主催：公益財団法人日本武道館・日本古武道協会）。今回、全国から集った古武道の流派は全35流派。各々の歴史と伝承を背負い、日々の弛まぬ修練の成果をこの日、存分に披露しました。
魔障を祓うと伝えられる、小笠原流弓馬術の「蟇目の儀」が会場を清めると、続いて次々に見応えのある演武が観客達の前で繰り広げられてゆき、一つひとつの演武が終わる度、客席からは大きな拍手が鳴り響きました。
そして、演武のトリを飾った陽流砲術の抱え大筒による、会場中を震わせるような大砲音を最後に、此度の演武会の幕が閉じました。
