「一瞬」で強い体幹を身につける！ 武道に伝わる身体感覚
「体幹の強さが大切だ」「体幹を鍛えよ！」ということは、少し前から頻繁に耳にするようになった。実際、体幹トレーニングの本も多数出版されている。しかし、そのほとんどは体幹を鍛える"筋トレ"の仕方を解説しているようだ。もちろん、体幹の筋トレも効果があるのだろうが、一朝一夕にできるものではない。また、継続しなければその効果を維持することは難しいだろう。
本書で紹介する体幹強化法は、そのようなものとは一線を画し、武道で伝承されてきた人体の可能性を最大限に引き出す方法である。一番の特長は、意識を使って「一瞬でできる」ことだ。それは、「背骨」「仙骨」「股関節」「首」「肩甲骨」「腰力」の６つを意識した姿勢と「呼吸（逆腹式呼吸）」の意識、つまり７つの意識だけで身につくという。
さらに、体幹の力をしっかりと四肢に伝えるための身体操作も紹介。武道はもちろん、野球、テニス、ゴルフ、陸上などあらゆるスポーツにも応用できる、達人の知恵を活用せよ！
